Ty Gwartheg was formerly a traditional Pembrokeshire stone barn. In the past it has been home to many a local calf and the source of many a local pint (milk of course). Its recent sympathetic conversion now provides spacious and comfortable accommodation of the highest quality. The Wales Tourist Board has awarded Ty Gwartheg a 5 star rating.

Ty Gwartheg is in the charming hamlet of Tretio and forms part of West Farm which is also available for letting either separately or together with Ty Gwartheg. The adjoining Tretio Common is also in the Pembrokeshire National Park and is renowned for its rare plants, fauna and wildlife.

Accommodation:

With the exception of a twin-bedded room in the spacious "loft" area, the rest of the accommodation is located on the ground floor. Visitors with limited mobility will find the cottage very convenient as there is level access to a further twin and a double bedroom as well as the fully equipped bathroom. The kitchen/dining room is fitted with all the most modern amenities - washing machine, fridge, microwave, electric cooker and a dishwasher. The attractive lounge, with TV and video, has exposed ceiling rafters and a log burner in its character fireplace.

External Amenities:

This charming holiday cottage has a patio/lawned area to the rear and the whole of Tretio is a safe, natural adventure playground for children and adults alike. There is ample off-road parking.

Services:

Central heating, hot water and electricity are supplied at no additional cost. Bed linen is provided but visitors are avised to bring their own towels. A basket of logs is provided for the fire. A cot is available on request and a safe baby-sitting service can be arranged.
